Jensen Mixers are designed to be serviced with basic mechanic tools — no special gauges, no proprietary equipment. Our on-site training programs ensure your maintenance team can perform every procedure correctly, safely, and efficiently.
Northeast Controls Inc. has represented Jensen Mixers since 1973. Our team has supported Jensen mixer installations at refineries, pipeline terminals, petrochemical facilities, and bulk liquid storage operations throughout the northeastern United States for over 50 years.
We offer on-site training and field assistance for every aspect of Jensen mixer operation and maintenance — from initial installation through routine seal replacement, Petro-Block operation, Sentry System monitoring, and long-term preventive maintenance planning.
Jensen mixers are built to be maintained in the field by your own technicians. Our training programs give your team the knowledge and confidence to do exactly that.
Hands-on training for the fastest seal replacement procedure in the petrochemical industry. Technicians learn the Jensen cartridge seal system, proper torque sequences, and how to verify correct installation — using only standard mechanic tools.
Training on the Petro-Block safety handle — how to activate it in an emergency, how to reset it during the standard lock-off procedure, and how to verify it is functioning correctly before returning the mixer to service.
Training on the Sentry Notification System — how to read the inspection ports, how to interpret fluid levels in the lube pod, and how to connect third-party electronic sensors for remote monitoring.
On-site support for new mixer installations — from nozzle preparation and mixer mounting through initial startup, belt tensioning (Series 400/800), and operational verification.
Training specific to Vari-Angle mixer models — how to safely adjust the entry angle while the tank is in service, how to inspect and maintain the ferrule seal and flex boot, and how to perform lock-off on a VA unit.
Development of a site-specific preventive maintenance schedule for Jensen mixer fleets. Covers inspection intervals, wear item replacement schedules, spare parts stocking recommendations, and documentation practices.
Instructor-led classroom sessions at your facility covering Jensen mixer theory, design features, safety systems, and maintenance procedures. Ideal for onboarding new maintenance technicians or refreshing existing crews.
Live training on your installed Jensen mixers. Technicians perform actual maintenance procedures — seal replacement, belt tensioning, Petro-Block reset — under the guidance of a Jensen or Northeast Controls field specialist.
A Northeast Controls field specialist attends your new mixer installation to ensure correct mounting, alignment, and startup. Includes on-site documentation review and operator familiarization.
When an unplanned seal failure or mechanical issue occurs, Northeast Controls can dispatch a field specialist to assist with diagnosis, parts identification, and repair — minimizing downtime.
In addition to on-site training and field assistance, Northeast Controls supports Jensen mixer remanufacturing and repair. Worn or damaged mixers can be returned for factory-level rebuild — restoring them to original specification with new seals, bearings, and wear components.
